Peter Bennett-Jones

Chairman

 

Awarded the BAFTA Special Award for his contribution to television and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Royal Television Society, Peter Bennett-Jones is an industry figure head.

 

Alongside his role as chairman of Burning Bright Productions Peter is also chairman of PBJ Management, which was set up in 1988, representing the cream of UK comedic creative talent including Rowan Atkinson, Armando Iannucci, Lenny Henry, Eddie Izzard, The Mighty Boosh, Dylan Moran, Barry Humphries, Tim Minchin and Howard Goodall.

 

As founder of the Tiger Aspect Group, from which he stepped down as Chairman in 2011, Peter’s back catalogue in production boasts over 500 titles and scores of domestic and international awards.

 

Prior to this he was Managing Director of Corporate Communications Consultants, Talkback Productions and a director of theatrical producers Pola Jones Associates.

 

Peter is Chair of Trustees of Comic Relief and Sport Relief and a director of the Millennium Promise (UK). He is Governor of Rugby School and Chairman of its Arnold Foundation, a Trustee of the National Theatre, chairing its Production Board, a Fellow of the Royal Television Society and an Honorary Fellow of the University of Bangor.
